Student Immigration Team
We are the only team at the University who are authorised to give immigration advice to applicants, students and dependants of students. We should therefore be the first point of contact for any immigration queries or concerns. The rules relating to immigration and visas are complex and frequently change so you should always refer any immigration queries to our team in the first instance so we can ensure you receive the correct advice.
We are regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) to ensure that we do not provide unregulated immigration advice or immigration services. The Student Immigration Advisers are trained to supply immigration advice and guidance to students, in accordance with IAA regulations.
We do not advise on any of the work routes such as Graduate route, Skilled Worker or Global Talent, so if you require immigration advice on applying for a work visa you will need to contact an immigration solicitor. We also do not advise on asylum or settlement applications. You must inform us if you change your immigration status while you are studying with us.
Most queries can be answered by reading the information on this site. Routine queries by e-mail will be signposted back to these webpages as the most up-to-date and comprehensive source of information available.

We will respond to your email within 5 working days.
