Differentiation Arrangement

Nationals of some countries do not need to provide evidence of their qualifications or their money when they initially apply for a Student visa. UKVI refer to this as the "differentiation arrangement".

You will need to refer to the UKVI list of nationals subject to different documentary requirements to see if your nationality is included.

If you are a national of one of the countries listed, your application should be subject to different documentary documents and you should not need to submit financial evidence as part of your initial application submission as a result. If you hold a passport for more than one country, you can benefit from this arrangement as long as one of your nationalities is included on the list.

It is very important that you still obtain evidence of your finances even though you do not need to initially submit them. This is because UKVI can still request this evidence as part of their decision process and your application could be refused if you are not able to provide the specified documents within the requested timeframe.
