Credibility Interviews 

You may be asked by UKVI to attend a credibility interview as part of the visa application process in order to determine that you are a genuine student. You should be notified by email if you are required to attend one.

The interview will be conducted through a video link with members of UKVI staff in Sheffield and you will be asked a number of questions, which may include:

• Your course details

• The reasons for selecting your course

• How you are funding your studies

• Your plans upon completion of the course e.g. your career aspirations

It is likely that your application will be delayed beyond the normal 8 week processing time if you are called for interview.
