What are the Student Support Hubs?

The Student and Doctoral Academy Support Hubs are here to provide you with help and guidance. Whether you need career advice, wellbeing support or help with course information, the Hubs team will be able to point you in the right direction. 

There are nine Student Support Hubs and three Doctoral Academy Hubs located across campus. You’ll be able to access the same University support services from every Hub, no matter where you’re usually based or what subject you’re studying. If you have a query about your particular study programme, you can visit your ‘home’ Hub, which will be located within your School.

Your Student Services have moved online

From Tuesday, 2 January 2024, the Student Services front desk at Burlington Street will be closed and services will move online. You can still access all services by calling by 0161 275 5000 or using the Student Services Enquiry Form and we will look to respond to all enquiries within five days.

This includes any issues related to:

• tuition fees
• funding
• registration
• immigration
• council tax and Bank Letters
• graduation (including certificates and transcripts).

If you need to speak to someone face-to-face, you can visit your Student Support Hub or Doctoral Academy Hub from Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
