Please DO NOT pay for a replacement card if this is your FIRST card. If you are a new student you will need to complete registration before you will be able to collect your first card for free.
If you are a registered on a distance learning course, we will send your first card by post to you. To request this, please submit an enquiry via the Student Services Enquiry Form.

If you have lost your Student ID card then you will need to pay for a replacement Card
If you have lost your student card you can purchase a replacement by visiting the online store. The cost of a replacement is £10 and will be subject to additional delivery charges if you are not collecting in person.
Replacement student cards will only be issued to students who are fully registered for the current academic year
Stolen Student Cards will be replaced free of charge if you have a Crime reference number otherwise you will be charged for the cost of a replacement student card.
If your card has been stolen, you can get a replacement free of charge on production of a crime reference number provided by the police. Lost property logs and reference numbers are not valid. Please bring evidence of your crime reference number & student ID number to one of the collection venues detailed below.
If you do not have a crime reference number please use the online store to pay for the replacement card
Expired or Damage cards can be free of charge if you bring your old card to a collection venue
If your card has expired or is damaged and no longer works, you can get a replacement free of charge. Please bring your expired/damaged card with you to one of the collection venues detailed below.
If you do not have your damage card with you, you may be asked to pay for the replacement card via the online store
Postgraduate Research Students that have reached the end of their prescribed period but still require access to facilities can request a completing card. Please note that this card expires 3 months from the date of issue and is only eligible for students that are still ‘Active in Program’.

Students can collect their student cards from their Student Support Hub or Doctoral Academy.
