Transcripts

Parchment (Digitary CORE) is a third-party service The University of Manchester uses to publish and hold graduates' official digital documents (Certificate, Transcript, and HEAR Document). The service is not owned by The University of Manchester. The University of Manchester issues the documents, but graduates sign up with Parchment (Digitary CORE).

Parchment (Digitary CORE) helps graduates securely receive digitally certified, official documents online and share academic documents with third parties, making it easier to verify academic achievements. Physical transcripts can be purchased from the Online Store.

Graduates' digital transcripts have been published online shortly after graduation since October 2009. If your digital transcript is not already available on Parchment (Digitary CORE) or if you are facing any issues accessing your Parchment (Digitary CORE) account, please email graduation@manchester.ac.uk.

The University previously published official digital documents on a service called eDOCS from October 2009 to July 2019. In the transition to the Parchment (Digitary CORE), any documents hosted on eDOCS were migrated from one service to the other. Graduates from this period can log into Parchment (Digitary CORE) using their eDOCS credentials.

Physical transcripts can be purchased from the Online Store.

Digital transcripts of graduates from this period are not automatically available on Parchment (Digitary CORE). To obtain access to your digital transcript you must purchase a physical transcript from the Online Store and include a request for a digital version in the Special Requirements section of your order. Once your order is processed your digital transcript will be published on Parchment (Digitary CORE).

It is unlikely that The University centrally holds a complete record of the transcript information for graduates from this period. If it is necessary for you to access your transcript information, please contact your School directly in the first instance. If your school can locate your record and send it to the Student Administration Team (Graduation), a transcript can be produced.

Physical transcripts can then be purchased from the Online Store. If your record includes a student ID number, you can include a request for a digital transcript in the Special Requirements section of your order. Once your order is processed your digital transcript will be published on Parchment (Digitary CORE).

If your school is unable to locate your complete record, The University may be able to provide a 'partial' transcript or a 'no marks' transcript with the available information. If this is sufficient for your purposes, please place an order from the Online Store and specify in the Special Requirements Section that you have already contacted your School and are happy to receive a transcript with the available information on your record.

It is not possible for The University of Manchester to provide Affiliated Institution transcripts as your student record is held by the institution you studied with and not by The University of Manchester. Please contact the relevant institution directly to enquire about your transcript.

Exchange and Erasmus Students' digital transcripts are published on Parchment (Digitary CORE) at the end of your exchange year, after an Examination Board has validated your grades, typically in the Summer. Once your digital transcript has been published, you can also purchase your physical transcript from the Online Store.

If you would like an unofficial interim transcript, please request this directly from your School.

Physical transcripts for withdrawn students can be purchased from the Online Store. It is not currently possible for The University of Manchester to provide digital versions of withdrawn student transcripts.

Certificates and transcripts for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught Architecture courses are not produced by The University of Manchester. Please contact the Manchester Metropolitan University to enquire about your certificate or transcript.

Certificates and transcripts for Postgraduate Research Architecture graduates can be purchased from The University of Manchester's Online Store.

Pre 1996 Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught Architecture graduates can also purchase certificates and tranacripts from the University of Manchester's Online Store.

Transcripts for MBChB are not produced centrally. Please visit this page for more information and to place a transcript order, or contact medical.transcripts@manchester.ac.uk to enquire about your transcript.

Transcripts for BDS Dentistry and BSc Oral Health Science are not produced centrally. Please contact medical.transcripts@manchester.ac.uk to enquire about your transcript.

Transcripts for courses within the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work are not produced centrally. Please contact transcripts.nursing@manchester.ac.uk to enquire about your transcript.
