If you change address you must inform the University and UKVI. You must update your MyManchester page with your new address details and also update UKVI. 

To update UKVI, you can update your address details directly through your UKVI account.

If you change any of your personal details you must inform the University and UKVI. If you change your name you should inform your academic school and attach scans of any relevant evidence such as marriage certificate, so they can ensure your record is updated.

You can update your name, add an extra nationality or upload an updated photo of yourself through your UKVI account. However if you have changed your nationality UKVI will ask you to post your new passport to them so they can verify the change. UKVI should provide you with the address of where you need to send your passport to. You must send your passport through Special or Recorded Delivery through a Post Office to ensure that is signed for and can be tracked. UKVI will then send your passport back to you once they have verified and updated your details in your UKVI account.

You must inform the University and UKVI if you change or renew your passport. You must email the Student Immigration Team explaining the change and provide a clear colour scan of your new passport.

You can directly update your UKVI account with your new passport details and add it as your new identifying document to enable you to log in to your account going forward.

If other circumstances change then you may be obligated to inform the University and/or UKVI. Such changes may include any criminal charges or convictions or a change in relationship with your Student Dependants.
