Some letters require your address details to be up to date. If you request a letter and your address details are not up to date, this may delay your request.
- Home address - Where you normally live when you are not at University
(For international students, this should usually be in your home country)
- Term-time address - Where you live while studying in Manchester. This could be halls of residence, or a student house or flat.
Your student record should show your full address exactly as it would appear on a letter. If you live in halls or a flat, include:
- Room number
- Floor number (if applicable)
- Building name
- Street name
- Town/City
- Postcode
How to Update your Address on MyManchester
- Go to my.manchester.ac.uk
- Select My Profile
- Choose Edit next to your address
- Select Student Centre, then Profile
- Choose Addresses
- Add or update your Home and Term‑time address
- Save your changes
