If you are due to graduate in the upcoming graduation period you will receive your official physical degree certificate during your graduation ceremony. If you do not attend your graduation ceremony you can choose to have your official degree certificate shipped to your home address or to collect it in person from the Student Services Centre. You will be prompted to select your preference when completing your graduation registration.
Only students who complete the graduation registration and opt to have their certificate shipped to their home address will receive a physical copy of their certificate by post. If you do not complete the registration invitation you have 12 months from the date registration closes to request a physical copy of your certificate by emailing graduation@manchester.ac.uk. Otherwise, you will have to purchase your physical degree certificate through the Online Store.
You will be able to purchase official physical copies of your transcript on the Online Store after the date of your graduation ceremony.
If you would like an official physical copy of your degree certificate or transcript you can purchase it on the Online Store. Please note that when placing an order there is a Special Requirements section where you can specify any further needs you may have, such as having your document(s) placed within a Stamped and Sealed envelope, True and Verified, or if you require a form sent in along with your document(s).

It is unlikely that The University centrally holds a complete record of the transcript information for graduates from this period. If it is necessary for you to access your transcript information, please contact your school directly in the first instance. If your school can locate your record and send it to the Student Administration Team (Graduation), an official transcript can be produced. Graduates may then purchase a physical copy oftheir official transcript from the Online Store and request digital access in the Special Requirements section if desired.
If your school is unable to locate your complete record,The University may be able provide a ‘partial’ transcript showing the available information. If this is sufficient for your purposes, please place an order from the Online Store and specify in the Special Requirements Section that you have already contacted your school and are happy to receive a transcript with the available information on your record.
Alternatively, The University can provide a Confirmation of Award Letter. These are sent digitally via email as a PDF. If you would like to request a Confirmation of Award Letter, please email graduation@manchester.ac.uk and quote your Student ID, name graduated under, and date of birth.
