Changes to your Immigration Category

You must inform us immediately if you have submitted a visa application in a different immigration category such as asylum, skilled worker or BNO, and provide evidence of your application such as a UKVI document checklist or UKVI payment confirmation email. If you have applied for asylum we will need your consent to contact UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI)  so we can conduct monthly Right to Study checks while your asylum application is in progress.

If your immigration status changes and you no longer require your Student visa you must inform the Student Immigration Team and email us a share code from the UKVI website so we can verify your immigration status online and update your record. 

The Student Immigration Team will also inform UKVI that the University is now aware that you have a new visa or status and that we are no longer your visa sponsor under the Student route.
