Bursaries and Scholarships for students who started in September 2011 or earlier

Guarantee Bursary

• £1,250 per year cash bursary for UK Undergraduate students with a residual household income of £25,000 or less.

• Available for the expected duration of your course, for example 3 years, so if you repeat a year of study you will only be eligible for a reduced rate bursary of £347 for that year.

Students on NHS funded programmes are eligible for this bursary—in order to be assessed please send your NHS Bursary Notification of Award for the current academic year to funding@manchester.ac.uk.

Manchester Advantage Scholarship

• £1,750 per year cash bursary for UK undergraduate students who achieved three A grades at A level (or an equivalent qualification) and have a residual household income of £25,000 or less.
