Award Payment Dates for 2026-27

The table below provides guidance on when maintenance awards will aim to be paid to students starting in September 2026, focusing on those students who are in receipt of a monthly award for the academic year 2026/27. 

If you start your course in a month other than September please be aware that the date of your first monthly payment will depend on when you complete registration. 

Please note: although we endeavour to make payments early this cannot always be guaranteed therefore these dates are for guidance only and all direct debits and standing orders should be set up for the 1^st of the month, the official payment date of monthly maintenance.

* 1st October instalment will be processed as early as 15th September and credited to students’ bank accounts on 187h September, provided students have fully completed registration by 12th September. Students who register after the 11th will be paid on the subsequent weekly payment run.

** Due to the Christmas shutdown it is necessary to process the 1st January award early.
